OK! I have got this disease. What do I do about it? Well, one thing you do not do is to continue eating Gluten! Where do I shop and what do I buy? Where do I find answers to my questions? Well, you have come to the right place for answers. There is a much brighter day coming and a light at the end of the tunnel. You need to take action and join a support group. The benefits of such a group are many.
The Lone Star Celiac GIG, located in Dallas, Texas has monthly meetings that vary in content from informative speakers, cooking classes, sharing of food prepared by Celiacs for Celiacs, and good old fashioned Dallas fellowship. Membership gives you access to our online newsletter, recipes, meeting audio, special reports, membership roster, find a Mentor roster, etc. For example, check out this Quick & Easy Recipe List or the GF_Candy_List_October_2007 to get started. In addition, we have speakers such as Anna Sobaski (DSL/Cable, Smart Phone) who spoke to our group 2/21/09 about cooking with Anna’s Mixes. Click on the appropriate link to view a sample of this presentation.
Making a lifetime commitment to Gluten Free dining is essential. The incidence of celiac disease in the United States, just released in the study of Fasano and Catassi, is 1 in every 133. Testing for celiac disease is now recommended for people with many symptoms which have been unsuccessfully treated. For more information on the symptoms, consult our many links on this site. For a short discussion of some of the symptoms, read our What is Celiac. Print this Guide for Dentists and take to your Dentist. He will appreciate this information.
Did you know that most Celiacs have a hormone imbalance that plays havoc with your body that must be treated to restore your health and well being? This usually includes an inadequate amount of Progesterone which some treat with hormone therapy.

A little detailed in medical terminology, there is an interesting article for anyone with celiac disease to read. Consider taking a copy to your doctor (especially your gastroenterologist, rheumatologist or internist) should you be going soon. It would be very interesting reading for them and even offers CME credits. The link.....
A new website from the United Kingdom, Gluten Free Life, is a super source for new and experienced Celiacs.
Also, check out a new GF Video Website.
